PDF is a good file format for document sharing and exchange and world-widely used among us. However, it is not a great choice to upload contents to Internet for distribution as PDF format, because many simple search engines can't index PDF documents, and PDF files can be viewed only when the readers like Adobe Reader are installed into computer.
If you are looking for methods to publish PDF as Webpage format, for making the contents more accessible and available for a larger target audience, converting files from PDF into HTML is a good solution. Following are the detailed steps helping you to save PDF as HTML:
1 Add PDF Files
Free download iPubsoft PDF to HTML Converter into your PC. Install the downloaded .exe file by following the instructions. And then double click the shortcut icon to launch the software.
You can click the "Add File" button to load Adobe PDF documents, or directly drag and drop a batch of PDF docs into the program interface. If you wanna import the whole folder, just click the button of "Add Folder".
Another way to load source files is through the Menu. Click File > Add File(s)... or Add Folder...
2 Page Range Setting (Optional)
The software supports 2 conversion modes: Partial and Batch.
Note: If you don't want to convert specific pages, skip the step and go to the next step directly.
Partial function allows you to select specific PDF pages to turn into HTML website format. What you need do is typing your required page numbers or page ranges and press Enter button. Then your selected pages will be converted.
Batch conversion will deal with a lot of imported files for saving your precious time.
3 Set Output
You can set output folder to locate your HTML files as your need - Save target files in the source folder or Customize a different folder as you want by clicking the Browse button.
4 Begin Conversion
If you've already made all necessary settings, the last thing is to click Start button to begin the PDF to HTML conversion. This operation will process all imported files at one time. If you need to turn a specific PDF into HTML, right click on one file, then in the pop-up menu, choose and click Convert Selected.
Wait for seconds, all the contents are preserved from PDF to output HTML files. You can click Open button to see the result. Job is done! A perfect HTML file is created! And now, it becomes easy to publish your PDF contents to website without having to worry the Search Engine can't index them.
