    MMC Card Recovery: Recover Files from Multi Media Card

    In general, MMC card, short for Multimedia card, is used as storage medium in portable devices like mobile phone, digital camera and many more. It is usually used to store media files like photos, videos, music and other document files like text documents, office files, school files, etc. An MMC card works based on flash technology and makes it easy to handle the removable storage media.     Procedure to Extract and Retrieve Lost Files from A Multimedia Card

    Step 1: Connect MMC card to the PC and run software

    Download and install iPubsoft Data Recovery. Hook up your MMC card to the computer via USB or a card reader. When it appears like a new removable drive letter in "My Computer", you can launch the software. There are 4 recovery modes: Deleted Recovery, Format Recovery, Raw Recovery and Partition Recovery are provided. You can choose the first Deleted Recovery mode at first. If failed, you can try the Raw Recovery, which will perform the deepest scan on your MMC card.

    Step 2: Choose your MMC card and scan it

    After choosing the recovery mode, you can click the "Next" button to let the software scan the systems and show all the drives related with it. You can see your connected Multimedia card is successfully detected by the software. Just highlight it and hit on the "Scan" button to start scanning lost files on it. Do not disconnect the card during the scanning.

    Step 3: Preview and recover files you want selectively

    After the scanning, all existing and lost files in your Multimedia card will be shown and organized in a tree structure with details like name, size and deleted time. You can preview them and check the files you want to recover, then, click the button of "Recover" to start the MMC card data recovery process.

    Note: Before the recovery, you will be popped up with an output choosing dialog from which you need to select an output folder on your computer to save the recovered files. Make sure the location you choose has enough space to store the recovered files. Please do not save them back to your MMC card to prevent the data from being overwritten.
