Generally speaking, you can easily get back your deleted emails in the deleted item folder. However, when you delete an email in an email program and empty the deleted item folder later, you can't recover the email in that way again. But take it easy that a deleted email is not really erased forever. You can recover deleted email from Outlook, Outlook Express, Apple Mail, Mozilla EML and so on with a data recovery program before it's overwritten.
To recover deleted emails, my recommendation is using iPubsoft Data Recovery or Data Recovery for Mac. Both support to recover emails from all kinds of email programs. Just select to download the right version according to your computer to have a try!
Step-by-step Guide to Retrieve Lost Email Files
After downloading and installing the program on your computer, it's time to follow the below tutorial step by step to recover deleted emails.
Step 1: Choose the location where you deleted emails
Launch the program. Four recovery options are provided. You can choose the suitable one according to your needs. Click "Next" to continue.
Step 2: Scan for deleted emails
You should choose the location where you delete emails. Generally the location is drive C. If you are not sure about the location, you can check the whole computer if needed. Click the button of "Scan" and the program will provide you with a quick and deep scan. All scanned out emails will be displayed and you can view and find the email that you want to recover.
Step 3: Start to recover deleted emails
Choose the email files that you need and click the button of "Recover" to begin the recovery of lost emails.
After the recovery, you can transfer the recovered emails to your email program. Take Outlook as an example. Just launch your Outlook, go to the menu and choose the options like: File -> Import -> Messages... Then, you can find the recovered files and then import. Done!
