User Guide - How to Convert Images to Text Step by Step?

A lot of times people will include images of text within their document. Maybe you need the text in images. The most direct way of extracting text from images may be retyping the text in computer. 1 Import Image(s)

The software is easily available to download for free. Once it is downloaded successfully, it won't take much time to install. After it has been installed, launch it to load image files which you want to convert to TXT.

3 approaches allow you to import files:
1) Drag and drop; 2) Click "Add File" or "Add Folder" button. 3) Click File > Add Files...
Obviously, dragging and dropping way is the easiest.

2Set Output Folder

The default will save output files into the source folder where store image files. If you don't want to use the default option, just click Browse button to customize your desired one.

3Begin Conversion

When all settings finished, you can click Start button located at the bottom right corner to kick off the conversion. The software will make use of OCR (optical character recognition) to convert picture to text. The final output can be saved in the desired textual format - TXT. And you can edit the output files with Notepad or Office Word freely.
