    Transfer Videos/Music/Photos between Google Nexus 4/5/7/10 and Computer?

    What is the correct method to transfer files between my Nexus 7 and PC using a USB cable? I am not asking about the Bluetooth or Wifi method for transferring files. I am specifically asking about how to transfer files using a USB cable to mount/auto-mount the connected Google Nexus 7. Any helpful transferring tool? I appreciate for all suggestions!

You may encounter with its interface asking you to enable the USB debugging on your Nexus in order to make it detectable by the program. Follow the below tips to do so.

    Note: If you have already enabled the USB debugging on your phone, you can skip to the next step.
    (1) For Android 2.3 or earlier: Enter "Settings" < Click "Applications" < Click "Development" < Check "USB debugging".
    (2) For Android 3.0 to 4.1: Enter "Settings" < Click "Developer options" < Check "USB debugging".
    (3) For Android 4.2 or newer: Enter "Settings" < Click "About Phone" < Tap "Build number" for several times until getting a note "You are under developer mode" < Back to "Settings" < Click "Developer options" < Check "USB debugging".

    Once the USB debugging is enabled, click "Allow" on your phone to allow the program super user authorization when an Superuser Request pops up.

    Step 2: Transfer files from computer to Nexus 4/5/7/10

    After being detected by the software, all files on your Nexus will be displayed in the above menu, such as Photos, Videos, Music, Contacts, Files, Apps, eBooks, etc. To transfer one kind of file, you just click the corresponding category, press on "Import" and start to import files to your Nexus.
