    How to Transfer Contacts from HTC/LG Mobiles to Computer?

    3 Steps to Copy HTC or LG Phone's Contacts (Phone Numbers) to PC

    Here we are going to take Windows version as an example. If you are running a Mac machine, you can get the Mac version of the software downloaded and installed on your computer, then, refer to the guide below as well.

    Step 1: Connect your HTC or LG phone to the computer

    Launch the installed Android file transfer software on your computer and you will get the primary interface asking you to connect your Android phone to the computer. Just link your cell phone to the computer via a USB cable and once the connection is successful, you will get the interface like below. The model, state, system version, storage and more information of your phone will be shown in the main interface.

    Note: Before beginning the transfer, you may need to enable USB debugging on your phone. If you did it before, you can skip to the next step.
    (1) For Android 2.3 or earlier: Enter "Settings" < Click "Applications" < Click "Development" < Check "USB debugging".
    (2) For Android 3.0 to 4.1: Enter "Settings" < Click "Developer options" < Check "USB debugging".
    (3) For Android 4.2 or newer: Enter "Settings" < Click "About Phone" < Tap "Build number" for several times until getting a note "You are under developer mode" < Back to "Settings" < Click "Developer options" < Check "USB debugging".

    Once the USB debugging is enabled, click "Allow" on your phone to allow the program super user authorization when an Superuser Request pops up.

    Step 2: Preview Contacts

    All files in your HTC or LG phone will be displayed in clear categories on the top menu. You can select the Contacts tab and choose "All Contacts" from the left panel. Preview all the contacts saved in your phone on the right window and then click the button of "Backup".

    Step 3: Save Contacts to Computer with 1 click

    There will be a dialog window pops up, asking you to specify an output folder where you want to save the exported contacts. Just choose an output folder and then you can hit on the "OK" button to begin the transfer

    Wait for a few seconds when the transfer is done, you can navigate to the output location to check the exported contacts, which are all saved in the readable and printable CSV or XLS file format. You will be surprised that all the contact person data like the name, email address, company name are all preserved.
